Lopez Island Brewing co. is the dream child of Mike Noreen. We call him the “Brew Mikester”. He has been making home brew for over 40 years. After listening for years to his friends say he should bottle and sell his brews, he got started. In 2015 he started brewing 5 to 10 gallons at a time in an apparatus that he designed, engineered, and built himself. Every bottle filled and capped by hand. We couldn’t keep up with the demand… just here on Lopez Island! So after an extensive upgrade to a 10 barrel brewing system our beer is now distributed in 3 counties, in bottles, cans and 3 sizes of kegs.

Every new beer is greeted with great anticipation and excitement here on Lopez Island. Mike hasn’t made a klunker.
